Tara Hicks, PMHNP-BC
Tara Hicks is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina. Her education includes a bachelors degree in nursing at South University , a Masters in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, and a post-master’s Doctorate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.

Tara provides care to patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and group homes, offering personalized treatment tailored to the needs of each individual. She specializes in therapy and medication management for patients dealing with mental health disorders or substance abuse issues. With a focus on empathy and clear communication, Tara strives to help patients understand, cope with, and overcome challenges in order to achieve their optimal well-being. Her mission is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and empower patients to manage their conditions effectively. With over 7 years of experience in mental health, Tara is dedicated to guiding patients toward positive change and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and having spa days with her daughter. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with her patients and making a lasting, positive impact on their lives.

Truemiller Norman, LPC
Truemiller Norman is a LPC in South Carolina with pending licensure in North Carolina.
She earned her undergrad and graduate degrees at Francis Marion University in 2016 and 2020. She is a Navy veteran, serving from 2007-2012.
She has worked with children, families, and adults, from ages 2 and up. Depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjusting to difficult life changes are her therapeutic focuses.
Her goal for her clients is to them gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their emotions, and their behaviors, while helping them navigate difficult life situations and develop healthier patterns. It’s is important for her to help clients develop helpful strategies that promote lasting positive change.
Some of the most common therapeutic approaches she uses are CBT, CPT, ACT, and trauma focused therapy.

Outside of practicing therapy, she enjoys crafting, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Tawana N. Hayes-Newton MA, MHRM, ADCI, LPC
Tawana Hayes-Newton is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who has had the privilege of gaining experience in a variety of counseling settings. In 2002, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston. After receiving her first master's degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University in 2008, she knew she wanted to be an advocate for those who were unable to advocate for themselves. She went on to complete her second master's degree in Counseling in 2013. She then received her state licensure, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, in 2022. She worked in different clinical settings, including intensive outpatient, residential, private practice, and outpatient, which has enriched her clinical development. She offers individual, child, and family counseling. She provides treatment for anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, phase of life challenges, career, self-esteem, anger management, substance use, and more. Her approach to therapy is in a very integrative, client-centered manner to ensure the highest quality care is provided. She uses a variety of therapeutic interventions to include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical therapy, solution focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, and more.

Lee-Ann Ahders, LMSW
As a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker, Lee-Ann provides vital support to residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. With a focus on emotional well-being, she works closely with residents, families, and the care team to ensure personalized care that enhances quality of life. Her role includes offering counseling, crisis intervention, family support, and advocating for resident rights. She is committed to fostering a safe and dignified environment for older adults and individuals with chronic health conditions, helping them navigate the challenges of aging and long-term care.

Tiffany Johnson, LPC
Tiffany Johnson is a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2019. She earned a Master of Arts in Counseling. Life can be very unpredictable. Things can get hectic, and you may need some help with sorting it all out. This is where Tiffany comes in! Tiffany is skilled in the area of counseling and understands the gap between the client and resources. She is all about bridging the gap. Tiffany provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment, which allows you to freely express your emotions. Her passion is working with individuals that experience anxiety, depression, and trauma. She several years of experience working with children, adolescence, veterans, and families. Tiffany uses a wide variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused, Reality Based and psychoeducation to name a few. Tiffany ensures that she can cater to everyone’s needs and treats each client as an individual.
She is passionate about helping people and hopes that you allow her to walk and work with you on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. Tiffany is accepting new clients and provides telehealth as well as in-office counseling services. Tiffany’s personal passion is to help others. She enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with family. She loves trips to the beach or lake and recentering herself in nature.

Tina Phillips
Tina Phillips is a licensed social worker, mental health therapist and Master Reiki
Practitioner who brings warmth, humor, and deep compassion to her work.
With over 15 years of experience, Tina has helped people from all walks of life—especially those navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions—find healing and peace.
Outside of her professional life, Tina enjoys travel, makeup artistry, and spending quality
time with her close-knit family and soul tribe.
Her ability to blend professionalism with
real-life understanding helps clients feel comfortable, even in life’s toughest seasons.
Tina believes healing happens best when people feel genuinely cared for—and she considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients on their journey.
